A Conversation with Dr. Sidney Hankerson

On today’s episode of Fresh Hope for Mental Health, Pastor Brad Hoefs talks with Dr. Sidney Hankerson. Dr. Sidney Hankerson is Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons and the New York State Psychiatric Institute.

He has developed expertise in treating patients with depression and other mood disorders. Brad and Dr. Hankerson talk about how people struggling with mental health first seek guidance from the church before going to a professional, and the importance of helping those in faith based settings get the correct help they need.
