About Heather M. Bassett
Before the age of 12, Heather experienced emotional trauma from parental neglect and abandonment, sibling separation, years of bullying from her teacher and classmates, and then the death of her guardian. For decades she suppressed these emotions and battled with low self-worth, anxiety, and co-dependancy, which developed into unhealthy behaviors and habits. In spite of these challenging times; Heather experienced Miracles to help her insight and always diverted back to her Christian Faith.
It wasn’t until one last drastic event occured that caused Heather to reevaluate her life’s decisions and commit to Emotional Healing and surrender completely to Jesus, in order to live peacefully, in the future.
Heather has certifications in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Parent/Child Interactive Therapy, and Hypnotherpy. She holds a B.A. in Communications, is a two time Author – I Love to Live for Jesus, and I Love to Love, the CEO of a Personal Development Co – Walking in Peace, LLC and the Founder & Creator of Confidence Speaks – a Program for youth ages 12-16.

In today’s world, many individuals carry residue from past hurt and trauma, which hinders their ability to accept the love of Christ in their lives. Through my talk, I take the audience on a transformative journey by sharing personal experiences, and equipping them with practical knowledge and tools so they can become aware of how low self-worth manifests from feelings into unhealthy behaviors. They will learn the significance of removing the unhealthy thoughts and behaviors, utilizing Scriptures, pivoting their perspective, and how to be intentional with their decisions so they can draw closer to God and receive His love and Freedom.
