Who’s Missing? Reversing the Impact of Mental Illness on Church Attendance
Individuals and families impacted by mental illness are enormously underrepresented in the pews at church on any given Sunday. In this presentation, Dr. Grcevich will review available data examining the impact of common mental conditions on church attendance, identify obstacles to church attendance in the context of church culture and introduce some simple strategies churches might employ for welcoming and including individuals and families impacted by mental illness.
