About Mark and Janet Soppitt
Mark and Janet moved to Canada with their 5 young children in 2005 to pastor a broken and wounded church in Ontario, Canada. Whilst seeing the church grow again, it came at great personal cost as they struggled with culture shock, the unexpected loss of a parent, raising their children in a foreign culture, and numerous challenges within their church community. At the end of 2008 Mark fell into a 7 year-long drug and therapy resistant depression. With much help from friends and health professionals, Mark and Janet walked through this time and emerged with a testimony of hope for the hopeless, healing for the broken, and how faithful their God is. Since this time Mark has released a worship album called “Take My Life and Let it Be” of songs that emerged out of these dark times. Mark and Janet love being life coaches, trauma healing facilitators, and being a part of their local church.
