Remember Whose and Who You Are: Overcoming Trauma Through Identity
Adverse Childhood Experiences and trauma can shatter the self and steal one’s voice. This workshop will show attendees how they can reclaim their identity by remembering Who they belong to. Rather than focusing on what their ACEs or trauma say about them, shifting focus to what God says about them will help them heal from hurts of the past. Participants will leave with an understanding of ACEs and trauma, a strong foundation of scripture that affirms their identity, and a strategy for constructing their personal faith-affirming “I AM” statement that they can apply to every situation in their lives.
