How Art Heals

Participants will learn foundational principles behind the use of art therapy in trauma healing, such as how art media affects our emotions and bilateral stimulation in the artmaking process. Practical examples of these concepts will be provided, along with tangible art exercises that participants can use at home to get started on their own journey of using art as a healing modality.
