Mental Heath Ministry: The Struggle is Real
People are hurting today in unprecedented ways and in epidemic numbers. A litany of clinically significant mental and relational health problems exists not only in society at large but within the Church.
Yet in most congregations these overwhelming human needs are typically and historically cloaked in an insidious and destructive combination of silence, secrecy, shame, and stigma.
In this presentation, a biblically and clinically integrated schema is utilized to understand the scope, sources, and solutions to the struggle. Then various innovative methods and models of mental and relational health ministry to implement and activate service delivery within the Church are delineated.
