The Importance of Community for Families with Disabilities and Mental Health Needs
Families caring for a child with disabilities are at much greater risk for mental health challenges than families without disabilities. Having a supportive community, whether in person or virtual, can make a significant difference in the lives of these families. In this session, learn about a new collaboration between Key Ministry and Fresh Hope called “Fresh Hope for Families with Disabilities,” a new curriculum and small groups designed specifically for the community and mental health needs of families with disabilities.
