This Thursday, April 5th, 2018 we are offering a FREE webinar for ministry leaders entitled Lo Que Quisiera Que Mi Pastor Supiera Sobre Salud Mental. It will be hosted by best selling author and speaker, Amy Simpson.  

Amy will be joined by three other panelists:

  • Brandon Appelhans, Founder and Executive Director of My Quiet Cave in Denver; lives with bipolar disorder
  • Professor Faith McDonald, a writer in Pennsylvania; mother of a son with mental illness
  • Julie Baier, parent of a loved one who lives with mental illness; NAMI support group facilitator and on the board of NAMI Dupage in Illinois

Cuando las personas desesperanzadas tienen un lugar seguro para procesar su dolor, y la esperanza llena de fe es modelada y compartida, se llenan de esperanza y prosperan (a pesar de su desafío de salud mental).

Our Mission

Una enfermedad mental parece robarte tus sueños y esperanzas futuras. Y la desesperanza empieza a apoderarse de ti.
 

El médico, el terapeuta y la medicina no son suficientes para aprender a vivir la vida a pesar de tener un problema de salud mental.

Y aquellos con una experiencia vivida – pares – pueden servir de modelo y empoderarse mutuamente.

Como pares, creemos que hay esperanza y que es posible vivir bien porque hemos pasado por ello.

Guiamos y apoyamos a quienes viven con una enfermedad mental, junto con sus seres queridos, para que encuentren una esperanza basada en investigaciones y así tanto ellos como sus seres queridos puedan volver a tener esperanza y sueños, y vivir una vida plena, vibrante y llena de fe.
