She is a survivor of severe depression after a 30-year battle. She is the FaithNet\/Sharing Hope Program Leader of National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) both NAMI Pensacola and NAMI Florida, and a Certified Mental Health First Aider. She is also the Founder\/CEO of Beacon of Hope Champions Ministries, LLC, an organization devoted to creating awareness about emotional and mental wellness being essential to spiritual growth, providing education to properly equip Pastors, leaders, and caring citizens in ministering to congregants dealing with mental health issues, advocacy for people who are not able to access the treatment for mental illness, and to provide a safe space for support for people without judgement. Dr. House is the loving mother of one son, Josiah House, a godmother to her godson Zephaniah Devlin, and a spiritual mother to several sons and daughters in the gospel. In all, she is very humbled for everything that God has graciously afforded her and has been allowed to experience in life."}
